What's a CarePro Partner?
A CarePro Partner is an organization or trainer who has signed an agreement to use the online CareProcourse in conjunction with the required skills and classroom training components to provide a fullycompliant training program. View Press Release

Becoming a CarePro Partner and following the training program provided to you will ensure that you are infull compliance with the new state requirements for caregiver training.

What does a CarePro Partner receive?
Once you become an approved CarePro Partner you will receive everything you need to start using the CarePro class in your own program. Included in the CarePro Partner Manual is:

  • Information on how to enroll students, monitor their progress and pull up reports for their online class component
  • How to access the faculty lounge
  • Skills demonstration instructions and checklists
  • Orientation and Safety Training Manual
  • Specialty Training Manuals for Dementia and Mental Health

CarePro Partners also receive full support from the team at aQuire Training Solutions, the online course provider, and from WHCA's education team. Support includes regular webinars only available to CarePro Partners.

How do I become a CarePro Partner?
Step 1: Apply to become an approved trainer through DSHS (click here for an application). List “CarePro” as the curriculum for the Basic Training section of the application. Select dementia and mental health for your specialty trainings to round out the full 75 hours (see below for more details).

Step 2: Once you are approved by DSHS to do facility-based training, sign and complete a CarePro Partnership Agreement and pay your initial Partnership fee ($75 annual fee for WHCA members; $150/year for WHCA non-members). We’ll send you the full turn-key CarePro Partnership Manual and provide you step-by-step support.

Once I've become a CarePro Partner, how do I enroll people in the online CarePro course?
Just follow the simple steps you’ll receive in your CarePro Partner Manual to enroll individuals in the online CarePro course – one at a time or in groups. The aQuire support team is available to help every step of the way, making this a fast, easy process.

How much does the CarePro course cost?
The CarePro online course is only one component of the full 75 hour training program now required in Washington State. The cost for this component is $99.99 for members of WHCA; $124.99 for non-members.

What makes up the full 75 hours of new training required?

  • Orientation and Safety Training: 5 hours (Training guide included in CarePro Partner Manual)
  • CarePro online course: 50 hours
  • Skills Lab: 12 hours (Training guide included in CarePro Partner Manual; forms also available in CarePro's faculty lounge)
  • Special Population Training (Mental Health and Dementia): 10 hours (Training guide included in CarePro Partner Manual)
